Showcase Sunday #20
Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vicky over at Books, Biscuits and Tea. It is a weekly feature that book bloggers can take part in to show off what books they have received that week.
I can't believe it is March already! Another way of telling me that I am behind on my reviews -.- I didn't receive many books for review as I declined all my requests this week (Gone was received last week). I am in a busy exam period so I am currently drowning in textbooks. Hurrah.
For Review:
Gone by Michael Grant
As mentioned above, I actually received this last week but forgot to mention it in my last Showcase Sunday. This was sent for review by Love Reading as a guest review, which I am really excited about! The latest book in the series has just been released so I need to join in with all the hype. ;)
Bought:
Butter by Erin Jane Lange
This book sounds so intriguing. I went to the bookstore yesterday and it took me ages to decide which books to buy (as per usual) but I eventually decided to purchase Butter. The concept is so original and it sounds really interesting!
Bittersweet by Cathy Cassidy
A World Book Day book - WOO! :D I love these £1 books. Even though they are for children, I couldn't resist getting this one by Cathy Cassidy as I used to really enjoy her stories.
Won:
Girl Meets Underworld by Jess Watkins
This was a nice surprise, actually. I didn't realise that I had entered the giveaway because I didn't notice that by joining an event on Goodreads (the press release of this book) I was automatically entered into a giveaway to win in. Yay!
What books did you get this week? Send me the link of your Showcase Sunday and I'll make sure to pop by. :)

Butter sound so interesting (in a slightly disturbing way!). I almost bought it when I was in town yesterday, but realised I wouldn't have enough for McDonald's if I did ;P (Yes, I'm a very greedy person...) I'm definitely going to purchase it someday soon though!
I used to follow Cathy Cassidy religiously! I feel like I've grown out of her books a little, but like you, I still buy them simply because they are great fun! Bittersweet sounds amazing - and you can't go wrong with a £1 book!
Enjoy your other books, Zoe. They all look wonderful!
And by the way, I'm very behind in reviews too - glad I'm not the only one! ;) xxx
The cover for Gone looks great, I have to check it out!
Thanks for stopping by, happy reading!
Eeep, I love the Gone series! I can't wait for April to come around, because the final book is going to be released then! *so excited*
Butter is such a weird book. I can't wait to see what you think! Happy reading :)

I used to absolutely love Cathy Cassidy! Now I really want to go an pick up one of her books!
Hope you enjoy all of your books :)
Oh, I've been meaning to read Gone for ages! I can't wait to see what you think of it! :-)
Butter sounds like the strangest book ever so I can't figure out if I want to read it or not.. Seen loads of people reviewing Gone but can't make my mind up about that one either.. Guess I'll have to read them and see what I think! Great haul :)

Butter is also really intriguing me! With a cover like that, of course it is! I can't wait to see if you enjoy it or not! Oooh, who can resist picking up a book from one's favourite childhood author? I probably would! And I've heard such great things about Gone that I feel guilty for not having read it yet! Will need to add it to my towering wishlist pile soon!
My exams are coming up in about two months time and I've not even been able to start studying properly due to the piles and PILES of homework the teachers have been forcing on me! I'm actually really stressed out with everything (hence why I haven't even found the time to post on my blog frequently)! :( Good luck with your exams though, Zoe! I really hope you do well! :D
Ooh I've been thinking of buying Gone soon and starting that series. Looks really interesting :) Good luck with your exams! I have a ton of coursework to do in the next few months, just so much work!
Great books! Enjoy :)

Girl Meets Underworld was pitched to me not too long ago, but it didn't catch my interest. I hope you enjoy it, though! I look forward to your review. :) I also can't wait to see what you think of Gone. I've read most of the books in that series and can call it one of my favourites. Great haul, Zoe! :)
I had to read Gone back during Freshman year and i'm glad I did because i love that series now! I hope you enjoy everything.
