Showcase Sunday #14

Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vicky at Books, Biscuits and Tea.

WOW. I haven't done one of these in ages! O_O I will try to get back to blogging more regularly - I only have a couple more exams left and then Christmas! YAY!

I have received the following books over the past 4 weeks:

For Review:

Killing Rachel by Anne Cassidy
I haven't read this series before but it looks fantastic. The idea of notebooks as clues for a murder sounds such a captivating plotline.

Hidden by Marianne Curley (ARC)
I am so happy to receive this proof copy, it sounds absolutely amazing!

The Resistance by Gemma Malley
The Legacy by Gemma Malley
I read The Declaration a while ago so it is great to have the other two books to read, and the new covers are GORGEOUS.

XII by Jason Rowe and Brian Palmer
This wouldn't be the type of book I usually read but I am always up for trying new genres. I might do an interview with the authors too!

The Scavengers by Mike Parker
Again, this isn't the kind of book I would pick up in a bookstore, but I like the sound of it.

Persephone by Kaitlin Bevis
I love Greek mythology but I don't read enough of it so I was really excited when I was offered this book for review. :)

Florence by Ciye Cho
I have seen this on quite a few blogs and they have all shared good reviews of it. I can't wait to read it!

The Blog of Maisy Malone by Ainsworth (no cover shown above)
I think I'll enjoy this book, it sounds great. And it involves blogging, you can't beat that....

^^ THANK YOU to the publishers and authors for sending me these books! ^^

Gift:

The Ultimate Guide to Blogging by Luisa Plaja
EEEP!!!!
The one and only Luisa Plaja asked me a few months ago if I would like to be mentioned in her new book, a non-fictional guide to blogging for teenagers. I am quoted in the pages and also have the last word in the book! YAY! Before I start to squeal and dance around the room again, here is a close up:

Thank you so much, Luisa! :)

I will do another post that reviews the book and goes deeper into what it is about etc.

What books did you guys get?
