Cathy Cassidy is an amazing author. Since I love every single one of her books I am going to do a whole post about my favourites.
CHERRY CRUSH - this is her newest one. It is part of a brand new series, the Chocolate Box Girls. I love it, the way Cathy writes books is amazing. You really feel for Cherry, the main character. Your views of the characters change throughout. Honey with her temper you really can't stand her, but you understand why she is so mean with her Dad leaving and new sister she has to share her room with. I didn't like Shay at first but by the end of the book he is my favourite character. I love the cover. It has a hole through the paper and the printed chocolate truffle on the hardback. Sadly I got the paperback which isn't quite as cool, but still I love the design. RATE: 5/5
INDIGO BLUE - I loves this book so much I read it in 2 straight hours. Once you start you can't stop. There are so many twists. Each character has a part in the storyline. Indie, her Mum and her sister Misti all have to move to a dingy old flat with no heating, only biscuits to it. Her best friend, Jo, doesn't understand what she is going through, with he Mum's boyfriend letting her down each time and more scarily. Then they realize their Mum has a reason of running away to the flat, but she can't hide the secret no longer. The cover is blue, of course and it is simple but effective. RATE: 5/5
GINGERSNAPS - This book is one of them you can read over and over again. I was trying to make it last, because I did not want it to end, but you can't help but read on and on. It is about a girl called Ginger coming from a dorky girl at Primary with no friends to a cool girl at Secondry. Herself and her best friend Shannon are drifting away from each other more and more. The thing that can help is the saxaphone-playing boy but even he doesn't trust Ginger. She becomes friends again with Emily who went to her Primary and she helps her. I was never bored while reading this. The cover stands out well. The colours go well together and the saxaphone with the colour coming out really adds effect. RATE: 5/5
LETTERS TO CATHY - Cathy used to be an agony aunt and retired when her books started to really hit off. She has recieved lots of letters from her fans telling her their problems and decided to write a book. This is very helpful and can pretty much answer any problem. She has a great talent of knowing how people feel and what it would be like to have their problem. From growing up, dating, bullies, making friends, following your dreams Cathy can help.

ANGEL CAKE - Once again, CC has created a addictive book. Anya moves to Britain but when she starts school nobody understands her. When she meets a bad boy Dan she is sure hes good news. But as he lets her down she can't help but feel like heaven when with him. Her family is poor and ends up living above a chippy. Dan's family own a Angel Cake shop and Dan is the promating 'angel'. Cathy was clever when she did this because dan is no angel, except to Anya. There are desicions, heart-pumping events and sometimes you want to hurl the book across the room. But this book makes you Cathy-Cassidy-crazy. RATE: 4.5/5
